VARIOFIT started when the company was set up in 1960, and the first trolley was patented: the Möbelhund®, which was their furniture mover. Continuing developments, TÜV certifications, a complex in-house, partially automated powder coating plant in addition to the expansion of product and production facilities, have made CORDES a great manufacturing partner for the industrial trade.
They have approx. 550 employees that process around 900 metric tons of steel a month on a footprint of approximately 85,000 m² and a production and stacking ground of 48,500 m².

Easy Stop Central Brake System: VARIOfit® central brake system revolutionised safety and convenience, allowing for easy, secure stopping with a simple press of the foot pedal. The certified patent 2426028 design ensures this type of brake can only be used on a VARIOfit® product. The central brake can be fitted on any of the four sides. This system is independently tested by TUV SUD to ensure outstanding safety and quality.
How to use;
Easy Stop - Simply press the EasySTOP brake pedal once- this arrests both swivel castors.
Easy Go - Return the pedal to its starting position.
Safety - Fixed position with easy access by the operator to permit instant braking. Braking is always possible regardless of the wheel position.
Ergonomic - Light actuation, short travel.
Powder Coating: Meticulous powder coating and stove enamelling processes result in products resistant to impacts and scratches, ensuring a long service life. RAL 5010 gentian blue or RAL 7016 anthracite grey are our standard colours; however, the factory can supply any VARIOfit® product in any colour, whether it's to match your corporate colour scheme or just because you want that colour for clear identification!
TÜV Mark: Most VARIOfit® products bear the prestigious TÜV mark, signifying adherence to rigorous German technical inspection standards.
Facility & Safeness: Thanks to their grey non-marking thermoplastic tyres, VARIOfit® trucks and trolleys leave no marks even on the lightest coloured floors, and their swivel castors are equipped with wheel brakes and foot guards as required by EU standards.

In a generous extended production department for special equipment, they have created the possibility of offering and supplying not only the usual large quantities but also sample items and small series for one piece upwards. Their service includes product approval drawings, short delivery times and reasonable prices.
