Introduction to New Waste Regulations for Businesses

Starting 31st March 2025, England will implement new waste management regulations that require businesses to classify waste into three categories: Mixed Dry Recycling, Food Waste, and General Waste. Businesses generating over 5kg of food waste each week will need to arrange for dedicated collection services, and the use of macerators for food waste disposal will be prohibited.
