The initial concept for Really Useful Boxes came from their owner who in 1999, as an accountant at a plastics company, wanted a transparent, strong, stacking storage box to store his archive records. After extensive searching he was unable to locate such a product so he decided to create it himself.
Established in 1999, Really Useful Boxes developed a range of innovative plastic storage boxes. Each box is supplied with a separate lid, which can be held securely in place by a locking mechanism attached to the box itself. The boxes, supplied in a clear transparent material enables the user to quickly and easily identify the box contents.
Really Useful Boxes have now evolved this concept into archival storage for CDs, and DVDs etc. And Extra Strong Really Useful Boxes, much stronger than all other models and perfect for use where the contents require maximum protection from damage e.g. courier boxes for parcel deliveries or airfreight Blue Really Useful Boxes are not transparent and therefore ideal for storing high value items that for security reasons you do not want other people to see. These boxes are also perfect for items which need protecting from direct sunlight e.g. prized vinyl record or magazine collections.
Most users are impressed by both their simplicity and ability to live up to its name of Really Useful Box.
