Roll containers or roll pallets are generally half-pallet sized platforms surrounded with a wire cage during transport. They are extensively operated in a retail or pub/restaurant environment. Roll containers are often used on a vehicle with tail lift where goods are transported between a warehouse and a retail outlet. The HSE have identified the issue of accidents caused by roll pallets and containers and it is important to have  a well-maintained fleet of roll containers. Parrs' nestable A frame roll pallets have a bright electro zinc plated finish which offers  rust-resistance for regular outdoor use. The reinforced wire  base and strong nylon castors allow for a capacity of 600Kg. It is recommended that Health and safety consider moving this weight under the terms of MHOR Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992. Risk assessments should be carried out before using roll containers.
