Hazard signs warn staff and visitors of potential dangers around the workplace.
You have a legal responsibility to try and eliminate all hazards in the workplace. If you can't eliminate a hazard completely, you should identify it with a hazard/warning safety sign.
Danger Signs: use to indicate a high level of risk, which if not avoided, may result in death or serious injuries.
Warning Signs: use to indicate a medium level risk, which not avoided, may result in injury or death.
Caution Signs: use to indicate a low level risk, which if not avoided, may result in minor injury.
